WAGNA
Three generations of our family have grown up in this idyllic village, each experiencing its charm and evolution in distinct ways. In this village, the passage of time is evident not just in the shifting seasons but also in the diverse perspectives and experiences of our family across three generations. Each generation has left its mark on the village, contributing to its rich tapestry of history and progress, while still finding common ground in the love and appreciation for this special place we all call home.
1930 - 2017
For the eldest generation, the village was a place of timeless traditions and close-knit community bonds. They recall a time when life moved at a slower pace, where neighbors knew each other by name, and gatherings at the village square were the highlight of the week. Their memories are filled with stories of farming the fertile land, celebrating festivals under the shade of ancient trees, and passing down age-old wisdom to the younger generations.
From my fathers point of view
1954 - today
The middle generation witnessed the village's gradual transformation as it adapted to the modern world. They saw the arrival of electricity, paved roads, and the first glimpses of technology. While they cherished the village's rustic beauty, they also embraced the opportunities that change brought, pursuing education and diverse careers abroad. They sought to preserve the village's essence while connecting it to the broader world.
From my point of view
1990 - today
The youngest generation, growing up in an age of rapid globalization and digital connectivity, views the village as a picturesque escape from the hustle and bustle of urban life. For them, it's a place where nature and tradition coexist with Wi-Fi and smartphones. They appreciate the village's beauty, but they also yearn to explore the wider world, using the lessons of their elders to navigate the challenges of a rapidly changing society.
