Illustration Album cover.
For this term in Illustration class, we had to make album covers in duo's. To start I looked for a good partner, then we talked about what kind of songs we were into. But since we knew each other, we fairly knew our taste in music. That music happens to be the same interest, which is a blessing.
Choosing a song
The next step was choosing a song! I had the idea to find 3 songs each person. and to then send each other. Thad way we could both listen to all three and have the choice to pick a song to your liking. I came up with that idea, to not force one another into something they wouldn't be fully happy about.
The songs we both went for, we never actually heard before. we both picked the song in the middle in the images underneath.

Moodboard
As for my moodboard and styleboard, they go hand in hand. since I wanted something with this mood, and in this style. In short terms, Chaotic and neon. This is because the song gives off such vibes.
Sketches and thumbnails.
When I started out sketching some ideas, I dug my own grave, since I went in without preparing. But luckily I realized that soon and ended up making thumbnails first. That way my partner would have a good understanding and choice between what composition they would like most.

I asked for feedback on what part of the drawing I should change, a few times during this project. it went quite well. I hope you like the artwork.
