Shedpack is a tool for people troubled by natural disasters, specially flood catastrophies.
When people are hit by floods, the main problems emerge in the first 3 days. Mostly, catastrophies happen in countries that are not perfectly connected to catastrophy warning systems. Therefore immediate response teams can take up to 3 days to arrive.
Shedpack challenges this problem by providing an easily available, cheap to produce, logistics-optimized first response system. It doubles as a backpack for personal belongings and as an emergency micro shelter.
Due to its easy fabrication, it can be pre-fabricated in dangered countries by unskilled people in a short time. It can then be stored with minimum space requirements and distributed as soon as response teams are ready.
