As a multimedia artist, I like to look for different materials to work with, as well as different opportunities to be fun and creative.  In recent years I learned to appreciate as well as make limoncello.  For this year's batch, I was determined to crank the quality settings to max.  I used the best ingredients I could get, and painstakingly made the best quality liqueur I've ever done.

Once the limoncello was ready for bottling, I wanted to step things up a notch.  After ordering flask bottles with tamper-proof caps (so gift recipients wouldn't need to wonder if it had been spiked), I designed the label.  I called upon frequent collaborator Pani Page to work up a sugar skull design with lemon slices for eyes, and she made exactly what I was looking for. Using Adobe Illustrator CC 2014 I was able to quickly create my label art, and then send the file out for printing.  I'm very happy with the finished pieces, this was an excellent project from start to finish!
