Sand and Wind (Uncertainty)

• Fishery industry in Sri Lanka is one of the largest industries of the country. But fisherman and the families of them are going through major problems and challenges. But despite all they face all of it with a smile and a hope. With this collection I wanted to bring more awareness to this matter for better discussions in the future.

Block printing, Knotting and beadwork are the three main techniques I used in this outfit. The shapes and everything you see in this outfit inspired by the fishing net and fishing floats.
