Goodwood Festival of Speed 2014

An early morning Speedmaster mis-reading incident meant that I was I making tea at 5.30pm, avoiding any early morning B&B bathroom encounters and ultimately amongst the first through the gate at Goodwood. No sat in the traffic this year.

By 7.45 the Nikons were working.

Gear for the day was the D800e and the D610 the former paired with the 18-24 f2.8 and the latter to the 70-200 f2.8. Other unnecessary bits were carried in the rucksack with more left in the Peli in the car which was a long walk away. Rain was promised but didn’t happen which made for a long and hot day.

Goodwood offers a wealth of photographic opportunity, where else could you see a family 'giving it hesh' in a Cayenne with the Red Arrows performing overhead?
