I've always had a certain fascination with the past, especially the early-to-mid 20th century. I like to imagine what life was like before I was born, and not just how we can see it through old movies and TV shows. One of the better ways to take an unvarnished look at the past is through vintage photographs. Whether candid or posed, they provide an intimate look at the lives of everyday people in everyday situations.

However, like everything else, they age, some worse than others. A lot of people can take good pictures, but not everyone can take good care of their pictures. Even under the best of circumstances prints can age and become discolored or faded. The best way to polish these time capsules is to give them some tender loving care, as only Photoshop can provide.
