TEEJ Social Media Creatives

Hartalika Teej, a significant festival in Nepal, is predominantly observed by married women who dedicate themselves to their husbands by undertaking a day-long fast known as "Nirjala Vrat." This fast symbolizes their unwavering love, devotion, and loyalty. Unmarried girls also participate, fasting and praying for a promising future husband. Both married and unmarried women celebrate this occasion with deep devotion and happiness.

Furthermore, women adorn themselves in vibrant traditional clothing, don intricate jewelry, and adorn their hands and feet with henna (mehndi). As a result, during this festival, particularly in the streets of Kathmandu, the landscape becomes awash with shades of red. Many women, donning red sarees or dhotis, gather at Shiva shrines, with the Pashupatinath Temple, a UNESCO Heritage Site, being a popular destination for these celebrations.

I was assigned with the task to create Social Media Designs for National and Australian client. Here I have tried to incorporate the essence of red along with the silver white to compliment the red color. Moreover, I have clipped silver pattern image in the text to make it more elegant.
