This is part of project 4: Interior of villa, This is a lounge/living area with an attached study that showcases a blend of modern and classical elements. The room has a semicircular vaulted roof with a chandelier that creates a sense of spaciousness and elegance. The center of the room features a L-shaped sofa with a customized coffee table and a minimalist bench.
The media wall is a striking feature that contrasts the exposed concrete texture with the rustic metal louvers and the circular backlit mirror. The TV cabinet is also sleek and dark, complementing the wall. A Roman sculpture on a concrete standee adds a touch of history and art to the corner of the room.
The glass bridge area is another highlight of the room, as it connects the lounge with the lower portion of the house through a transparent floor. The glass bridge has armchairs and a coffee table, as well as a large window that offers a stunning view of the mountains and forest
Planters and vases add some greenery and color to the area. The glass bridge also has a feature wall behind the vases, that is designed in an alternative tile pattern with black stone, gravels, and wall lights.
The right side of the lounge leads to a balcony that serves as a reading area. The balcony has wooden flooring, armchairs, and a swing suspended from the ceiling. It opens to an orchid garden that provides a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.
This project was a milestone for me as an interior designer in 2020. I was able to execute my vision and create a lounge/living area that reflects my style and personality. I enjoyed experimenting with different styles, materials, and functions to create a unique and harmonious space. I learned a lot from this project and I am proud of the outcome. It was a rewarding and satisfying experience for me as an interior designer.
