The friendly and iconic Pillsbury Doughboy was used as a form to create a desk lamp out of, to contrast with the stress associated with doing work at a desk. The symmetrical distribution of material was used as a visual cue that a linear, "gradual" process is the best way to dissipate the stress that comes with completing a large amount of work.
