"The fault in our stars" redesign

Redesign of the book cover  "The fault in our stars" (Eyni ulduzun altında)
The Fault in Our Stars is a novel by John Green.
The title is inspired by Shakespeare’s  play Julius Caeser, in which the nobleman Cassius says to Brutus: "Men at some time were masters of their fates, / The fault, dear Brutus, is not in our stars, / But in ourselves, that we are underlings."
The story is narrated by Hazel Grace Lancaster, a 16-year-old girl with thyroid cancer  that has affected her lungs. Hazel is forced by her parents to attend a support group  where she subsequently meets and falls in love with 17-year-old Augustus Waters, an ex-basketball player, amputee.
The colour scheme of the original book cover is simple blue, black, white, and a hint of yellow, but what do those colours mean? The colour blue symbolises Hazel's emotion of sadness/depression. As one sees there is a small hint of yellow, that symbolises the small bit of hope that Augustus brought to her life. Lastly the black and the white, one of the first things one may notice is that white and black are complete opposite colours. Just like Hazel and Augustus, they are both complete opposites, yet they both balance each other out perfectly.

In the cover design, based on the book, I decided to use a swing, the starry sky; get out of a depressed state and tune in to the positive, to love and to the joys of life.
