MAKIWARA CONVENTION CENTER

University project about a convention center located in the city of Managua, Nicaragua. This complex has a total area of 52,737.13 m² and leads us through multipurpose rooms, large halls, an auditorium, a complete library, maintenance spaces, outdoor exhibition areas, as well as classrooms and workshops for teaching courses to all public.
Lounge bar in the auditorium building.
This auditorium has a grandstand with a capacity for 670 seated spectators, who can go out to the lobby and enjoy a drink in the lounge bar. For its construction, the covintec system (electrowelded mesh) was used, complemented by reinforced concrete columns.
Outdoor exhibition area.
Among the main material of the finishes or ornamental elements we find wood, with the aim of transmitting a visual sensation of lightness, as well as a chromatic sensation of tranquility and nature that plays with old Japanese trends.
