The purpose of my lookbook is to display and advertise Elie Saab’s spring/summer 2021 ready-to-wear collection. Elie Saab is a known haute couture designer, with this collection the designer wanted to express the feeling of hope and freedom which is why the photoshoot is an airy and open space and the garments are flowy with natural colors.
To create the lookbook I used the photoshop program by Adobe, I started by placing pictures from the photoshoot and then adding text with garment description and page numbers. The outcome is a sharp and luxurious lookbook, which represents the designer and allows the garments to be the focus.
This project embodies the showcase theme of our 150-year legacy of Excellence and Empowerment by celebrating high fashion and the art of haute couture. The legacy Elie Saab has created is a social empowerment for minorities all around the world and here at Kansas State University.
