My main role at Stokes' Branding Team is to take care of the campaign flyers.
The work flow is quite extensive and involves multiple teams in the company.

The flyer layout is proposed by Marketing based on the picked product list defined with Buying and Planning teams.
Once the product list is defined I start to gather images that go on the product boxes (called complimentary shots).
They usually come from the product packaging or product page (eComm). They can be reused through the different flyers. The focus is on the product, and it should show just a small quantity of props.
The lifestyle flyers also display bigger boxes dedicated to inspiring mood shots. They are planned and shot specifically for that flyer/campaign.
It usually shows 3-4 products or a collection. The focus is still on the product, but the use of props helps to achieve an inspiring look and feel.
For those shots I go to the photography studio and direct the shots.
After I place all the images (making sure they comply with the printing process), it is time to place all the content:
1. SKU number
2. Product name
3. Description
4. Original price
5. Brand
6. Price
7. Set/Each
8. Savings %
And some other additional information depending on the product.
The flyers go through Marketing and Buying for review and any eventual revision.
Once approved, I work on the French version. Then there is a final review between Marketing and Branding.

After final approval I submit the files to the printer's uploading system.
Last step is to optimize the flyer file to a digital version. Adding some call to actions and special pages.
