Mockingbird is located on the 4th floor of the Ton That Dam Building - a 133-year-old apartment right beside
Tau Hu Canal (Westside of Sai Gon River).
The coffee shop has been in business for ten years; time flies, and it has deteriorated and needs renovated.
We did a renovation plan called “half-half”; some parts with reminiscent value, such as the high bar and the ceramic tile floor are retained. Then we added new paint colors and replaced some ceiling lights and new furniture for a fresher atmosphere.
Everything creates a harmony between the old and the new - the same way this apartment has operated for many years.
The best part of this coffee shop is the view from the window and the balony
