The Saltire Inn - Brand Identity & Website Design

Introducing The Saltire Inn, where luxury is redefined in the heart of Edinburgh.

I embarked on this project driven by a passion for our stunning capital, and a goal to create something that would pay tribute to the city whilst letting me showcase my design skillset. Crafting a brand, design assets and comprehensive digital presence showcases how a simple yet luxurious visual can come to life online.

In my work for this project, I not only crafted an elegant brand identity for the establishment but also extended this concept to create unique sub-branding for one of the hotels exclusive drink lounges. This endeavour was driven by the vision to demonstrate the versatility of the brand identity across various facets of the hotel's offerings, while ensuring a seamless, cohesive experience for guests.

In addition to my other tasks, I took the initiative to design and create mock-ups for simple yet elegant key cards, adding a touch of refinement to the overall guest experience.

The website played a crucial role in this project, it serves as an online hub where guests get a taste of the hotel experience. I wanted the website for this project to mirrors the hotel's style, colours, and voice, creating a seamless transition between physical and digital design elements.

I took the initiative to create social media assets and develop a comprehensive style for the brand's social media presence, ensuring a seamless transition to online platforms. As well as creating social media graphics, I curated captivating photography to infuse into this project creating an authentic 'real-life' atmosphere.
