Started on paper since the client wanted me to bring back my old graffiti writer skills, the outcome wasn't that good so i decided to move it to photoshop.
"It has to be ruff, kind of reminding of a face....i was thinking that we can add some cartoon hands"
At first i wasn't that happy of being completely under the client mood, then i started to like the concept: giving a childish look to the letters and adding the cartoon hands could create an interesting conflict between the image and the text meaning. (OLD vs YOUNG)

Once the global shape was given, the path splitted in two ways. The client needed two different layout in order to print two kind of stickers.
By the way, the client is a dj crew so I picked the easiest solution: making a relation between the circle shape of the stickers and the Technics 1200 wheels.
OLDINSIDE sound musical taste brought me to this (they are 100% vinyls djs)
Beside my idea of the technics 1200 wheels, this is probably the only occasion where i got completely driven in choosing shapes, type fonts, stickers layout as i worked side to side to the client. He is happy of the outcome so I really can't complain about anything.
