Since I was a child I love the brand of Strawberry Shortcake and taking advantage of the color wheel I decided to do fanarts!
Besides inspiring a lot in the 2007 version I also wanted to make each character with a kind of hat!

PINK - Strawberry Shortcake
Her hat is very iconic and both in the version of 2007 and 2003, it always had this size and so I imagined it as a sun hat. And I think it makes a little sense since strawberries don't like warm seasons, so nothing like a beautiful sun hat to protect you!
RED - Crepes Suzette
Crepes Suzette is a French dessert so nothing would match more than a beautiful beret hat the she already wears... just fancy!
ORANGE - Orange Blossom
I never understood what kind of hat she wore in that version, so I decided it would be a boonie hat, since orange is a tropical fruit this hat is very good to protect when the sun is too hot and it also left her delicate as a beautiful orange blossom is!
YELLOW - Lemon Meringue
She is my second favorite character, and as I had planned to do the bucket hat in another character, I did a straw hat that made her very cute!
GREEN - Coco Calypso
Bucket hat has become very popular among hippies and surfers in the 60s and 70s, and since Coco reminds me a lot of the beach vibe, it suits her a lot and I decided to keep it!
LIGHT BLUE - Frosty Puff
I didn't know the name of this cap and when I searched I came across the name: Ushanka. This cap is typically used in Russia to protect you from the harsh winter, so of course it suits her a lot!
DARK BLUE - Blueberry Muffin
The Newsboy cap was already used by her, so I decided to keep it too, since it gives her a lot of style!
PURPLE - Ginger Snap
Since I’ve known her, she’s always been a tomboy so beanie hat was something I figured she’d definitely wear!
