Seventy years have passed since the first, seminal Congress of Croatian Cultural Workers, held one year before the end of World War II, and one year after the formation of what would become the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. The organizing committee made a call for posters to commemorate the anniversary. My series features seven posters for the seven modern nations that had once formed SFR Yugoslavia. Each poster uses the same grid to form it’s layout and uses the same typeface — Identitet by Nikola Đurek — that features every glyph with which the many writing systems historically present on the grounds of ex-Yugoslavia (latin, arabic, glagolitic & cyrillic) can be written. The difference between them is that the poster “dedicated” to a specific nation uses the colors present in it’s flag, and repeats the main title with the writing systems most often found throughout history in it’s geographic area. -- please PM me any mistakes you find in the type, I am not a native user of most of these writing systems and there might be some mistakes -- Read Less
