“Raspberries for Rings” is about the expectations society places on young people at a certain age to sacrifice their youth and ‘knuckle down’. We are encouraged to give up the things that are deemed childish and only pursue pathways constructive to our maturity. When really, it is vital now more than ever to keep this curiosity and creativity alive within ourselves.
