The 360 travel head scarf is a product, that is designed for the ultimate travel experience. By putting my user at the heart of the design process I was able to create a product that connects with the needs and values of the kiwi backpacker. 

 

The 360 Head scarf is 3D knitted from luxurious merino possum wool. This material protects the user from the harsh aeroplane environment and keep body temperature at a comfortable level, providing insulation while allowing skin to breathe; supporting odor control and minimal washing maintance. A wrap around scarf, blanket or hood functionaility allows for different wearable styles. 

 

It was important for me to consider the lifespan of current disposable travel items and create a product that holds its value. It could be a product gifted to a first time traveler, and kept for a lifetime of experiences.
