Tutorlim, a private tuition provider in Australia, offers personalized expert tutoring across various subjects. From high school to university, they provide tailored online and in-person learning experiences.
The goal was to create a logo that looks professional and simple at the same time. It shouldn't appear too playful because they provide tutoring services to students of all ages, from schools to universities. The logo should reflect their main message of “Helping students succeed and achieve their dreams”.
With the design goal in mind, I created a logo for Tutorlim. The logo is a simpler version of the current Tutorlim logo and aims to show the brand message of "Helping students succeed and achieve their dreams" minimally and attractively. The logo depicts one person helping and sharing knowledge with another, representing the brand's ethos. It also does the job of resembling the brand values of delivery, integrity, consistency, and teamwork. For the logotype, I used a simple sans-serif font to give a clean and modern look, which aligns well with the brand and adds professionalism.
In the logo icon, the taller person symbolizing the tutor, is in blue, reflecting the trustworthy, intelligent, and serious nature of a teacher. On the other hand, the shorter person, representing the student, is in orange, representing their enthusiasm, energy, and determination. This color contrast highlights the relationship between educators and students and echoes Tutorlim's mission.
