"Światłocień" is a collection of poems written by a young, aspiring poet, Krzysztof Jakub Nadratowski. The author focuses on coming to terms with a certain phase of his life, trying to look at the turbulent process of maturing from a distance, drawing conclusions, and giving meaning to past events.

     The lyrical subject seeks his place in the world, immerses himself in past events, performs operations on his own open heart, bringing to light the shadows of his anxieties, disappointments, and passions.

     The book is divided into four chapters, to which, as an artist-illustrator, I decided to assign distinct colors.

     Blue - dedicated to getting lost in the modern world, the loneliness of the artist as an individual, and suffering.

     Red - telling about various shades of bittersweet, youthful love.

     Yellow - about the culture of artificial smiles, social media, and the pursuit of material goods.

     Purple - in which the lyrical subject tries to understand the relationship between oneself and the world in which he has to live.
