'Attention' Hat&Acc Dresser / 2023 / personal project
Fashion has long been used as a means of expressing one's own personality and lifestyle. As fashion's importance has increased, it is not said that the look has been completed only through clothes and shoes, but rather by using hats and accessories as a point element to complete the look by filling in the lack of two percent.
By the way, it feels more familiar to me to stack hats and accessories in my closet, put them in drawers, hang them somewhere, and throw them on the floor or sofa after going out. This rough look didn't make it look like a point item.
So, just as hats and accessories become a point item when worn on our body, we used them as another point element when being managed in the house, saving the patterns and material details of hats and accessories, giving them a clear point, and thinking of hats and accessories that make us feel like we are managing our cherished things even if they are not valuable.
패션은 오랜 시간동안 자신만의 개성, 라이프스타일을 표현하는 수단으로 사용되어 왔습니다. 그만큼 패션의 중요도가 올라가면서 현재에는 그 흐름에 맞춰 단순히 옷, 신발만을 통해 룩이 완성되었다 하지 않고 모자, 악세서리를 통해 포인트 요소로 사용하면서 2프로 부족함을 채워줌으로써 룩을 완성해주고 있습니다.
하지만 모자와 악세사리는 장롱안에 포개어 넣거나 서랍 속에 넣어 놓고 어딘가 걸 수 있을만한 곳에 걸어 놓기도 하고 외출 후에 귀가를 하고 대충 바닥이나 소파에 던지는 모습이 더욱 익숙하게 느껴 집니다.이렇게 러프한 모습들을 보았을 때 포인트 아이템이라는 말이 무색하게 대우를 받지 못하고 있는 것 같았습니다.
그래서 모자와 액세서리가 몸에 착용하면 포인트 아이템이 되는 것처럼 집안에서 관리할 때 또 하나의 포인트 요소로 활용하여 모자와 액세서리의 패턴과 소재 디테일을 살리고, 포인트를 확실하게 주며, 가치가 크지 않아도 애장품을 관리하는 느낌을 주는 모자와 액세서리 관리기를 떠올렸습니다.

In order to take the basic box form as a whole and allow the hat to become the main character, we used a refined format so that even if you put a hat with an excessive pattern, you don't blur the overall harmony.
Also, when the hat is placed, it is made to feel as if the hat is floating in the air and concentrate on the hat, so it is a point element.
전체적으로 기본적인 박스 형태를 가져가 모자가 주인공이 될 수 있게 하기 위해 정제된 조형을 사용하여 패턴이 과한 모자를 넣는다 해도 전체적인 조화를 흐트리지 않게 끔 하였습니다.
또한 모자를 얹었을 때 마치 모자가 공중에 떠 있는 듯한 느낌과 모자에 집중도가 몰리도록 제작이 되어 이를 포인트 요소로 잡았습니다.
If you look at the bottom surface of the product, there is an inclined surface, which allows water generated by steam to naturally descend the slope to solve the internal stagnation caused by the steam of the cap styler.
제품 내부의 하단면을 보면 경사면이 있는데 이는 기존에 나와있던 캡 스타일러의 스팀으로 인한 내부 물 고임을 해결하기 위해 스팀으로 생긴 물이 자연스럽게 경사면을 타고 내려갈수 있게 형태를 잡았습니다.
The entrance of the water tank is designed by giving an inclined surface to prevent water from splashing outside and give the overall sense of unity to the product.
물탱크의 입구부는 경사면을 줘서 물이 밖의 튀는것을 방지하며 제품의 전체적으로 일체감을 주는 조형으로 선택해 디자인했습니다.
If you go to a jewelry store or an accessories shop, you can see them taking them out of the drawer and putting them on the tray, and they designed it to remind you of that and made you feel treated when you opened it after sterilizing the uvlite.
악세사리 함은 보석방이나 악세서리샵에 가게 된다면 서랍에서 꺼내 트레이 위에 올려 주는 모습을 볼 수 있는데 그 모습을 연상케 할 수 있게 디자인하고 uv라이트 살균을 끝나고 열었을 때 대우 받는다는 느낌을 받게 해주었습니다.
