In Diamond League Neeraj Chopra acknowledges he didn't exert himself too much in Zurich
After placing second behind Czech Republic's Jakub Vadlejch at the Zurich Diamond Games, world champion Neeraj Chopra admitted that he did not push himself too hard."I feel pretty good now," Neeraj remarked, according to Diamond League. "Everyone is a little exhausted after the World Championships; we gave our 100% there, but for this competition here, my objective was just to stay healthy. Now, we have to focus for Eugene and then the Asian Games."My main goal was to maintain my health and give it all I had in my upcoming tournaments. Reading our bodies is sometimes necessary.

He came in last, trailing bronze medalist at the World Championships Vadlejch (85.86m).The Indian superstar, who entered Thursday's competition unblemished this season, earned 23 points from three meets and qualified for the Diamond League finals in Eugene, Oregon. Previously, he had claimed the Diamond League trophy.Jakub Vadlejch (29 points) and Julian Weber (25 points) have already qualified ahead of Chopra for the Diamond League finals. 

The Indian finished third as a result of the fact that Jakub and Weber competed in the Diamond League leg in Monaco whereas The Indian did not owing to injury concerns.Before capturing a historic gold medal at the World Championships in Budapest on Sunday with a throw of 88.17m, Chopra had won the Diamond League meetings in Doha (May 5) and Lausanne (June 30). These were his only two events.
