This Illustraion is a personal project, using Greek Mitology as theme, focusing in the Erato Muse. She was Zeus's e Mnemosine's daughter, and was said to be the muse of romantic poetry. Often related as the muse of music and love, as well. The scene tried to represent a peacefull and ordinary day, with nothing in special, and the overall composition as simples viewer looking to a greek landscape, creating a bucolic atmosphere.
To render this scene, I researched greek geology and history to represent both the landscape as well as the rocks used to build the temples. Fauna, clothes, body and face characteristics was also in my studies for this piece.
