Mooncrawler
The Mooncrawler is a project of a lunar vehicle that intends to enable the transport of passengers in greater numbers (20 people), transport of equipment and goods (essential in the construction of lunar infrastructures) and also has a focus on being a good exploring vehicle. These tasks are all achieved by separating the entire vehicle into modules, having a middle and rear module with interior variations that respond to each of the possible uses mentioned above.
I would like to give a special thanks to Joseph Minafra (Lead for Innovation and Technical Partnerships at NASA Ames Research Center), who gave up his precious time to have a virtual call with us, in order to enlighten us about various constraints and requirements of the lunar environment, which were extremely valuable for the accomplishment of this work. I would also like to thank Lynn Torres (NASA Office of Jet Propulsion Laboratory Management and Oversight) for spending much of her time exchanging emails with me in order to make this virtual conversation possible.
