Next of Kin is a Rotterdam based first aid for musicians. An agency that helps musicians with all of their questions no matter how small or big. The name Next of Kin was initially chosen by the client because it represents the closeness to the people they help out; Next of Kin meaning a person's closest living blood relative.
To visualize this typographically we chose to stack every word of the name in a different weight of the same typeface.
Every word being set in the closest weight to the next. So every new word is literally the 'next of kin' of the previous word.
