MASK - SMTP
We were approached by Territory Group, an agency based in Germany, to assist them in creating a campaign for the Government of Germany. The objective was to illustrate different scenarios where the government allowed individuals to choose whether or not to wear a mask. They wanted to depict three distinct situations.
The first artwork conveys the message: "No more wearing a mask makes me feel safe." The agency aimed to convey the idea that individuals have the freedom to decide whether they feel safer with or without a mask, emphasizing that both choices are acceptable and should be respected.
The second artwork represents the concept: "Finally, no distance is too close." The agency wanted to illustrate that physical proximity among people no longer poses a concern. It emphasized that individuals could maintain the closeness they desire in various life situations while having the option to wear a mask or not.
Unfortunately, we did not complete the third artwork as the campaign was abruptly canceled due to time constraints. However, the agency decided to include it in their portfolio due to its promising potential. We were pleasantly surprised by their determination to finish it for their portfolio and felt a sense of pride in our work.
Regarding the project execution, the client expressed a strong preference for an artwork I had created for Facebook several years ago. Although it had received significant acclaim in the past, I wanted to present something new. I managed to blend the client's ideas with a fresh perspective, resulting in a version 2.0 that included more intricate details, additional environmental objects, and more expressive hands.
Additionally, we created animated versions of both artworks, each lasting 15 seconds, to add a playful and dynamic element. The animations concluded with the final shot showcasing the artwork itself.
