Pepa arepa is a captivating branding and logo design project for a restaurant that pays homage to the heart and soul of Venezuelan gastronomy - the beloved arepa. As a proud Venezuelan, I understand the profound cultural significance and the unifying joy that this delectable food brings to our nation, whether enjoyed on the bustling streets or in the cozy kitchens of homes abroad. 

This project is heartfelt tribute to the arepa's power to evoke a sense of nostalgia, comfort, and community.

The idea of creating "emojis" for arepas is not new. I found at least three projects with emojis during my research. However, I aimed to encapsulate the essence of this iconic food within the symbol itself. Through a thoughtful blend of vibrant colors, playful typography, and carefully designs shapes.
