POR POCO
Primer Lugar 2002

SO CLOSE
First Place 2002
A woman looked at me through the glass case at the mall. Well, in his eyes I saw three kids, a dog in the yard, fear of job loss, the endless loans, and about sunsets timeless and languid Sunday at home with their parents. I felt the weight of the same morning, the same afternoon, repeated nights of the same criticisms. He quickly looked away, I hurried up the pace and went outside. He had survived one of those fatal seconds with the city usually seal the fate of men.

Pedro Vallette, 35 años, Macul

The final story I had to illustrate was "Graveyard"

CEMENTERIO

GRAVEYARD
Award for Young Talent 2014
--
He lived in a chubi house, near Avenue Grecia. It was one of those guys who like to pretend. His room was small with too large compared to the door inside, so small that the cigarette smoke clung to the folds of the cracked wall and do not allowed to set foot inside without breaking into bitter tears and concentrated. He had a shirt of the Smiths, but in his old record player always sounded Soda Stereo. I was all alone and had no money to buy weapons. His name was Tomás. No longer wanted to mourn.

Diego Urbina, 14 años, Peñalolen.
