ILLUSTRATED MAP OF HOLAMBRA
Holambra is a small town in the interior of the state of São Paulo. Its formation took place from the arrival of Dutch immigrants who came to Brazil in search of better living conditions as a result of the Second World War that left Europe devastated. The small municipality is now an important tourist center in the state and is also the largest producer of flowers and ornamental plants in Latin America. The name Holambra comes from the combination of Holland + Brazil.
In this map I tried to highlight aspects of gastronomy, economy, history, architecture and culture. The intention is to convey the whole atmosphere of Holambra on a map filled with interesting information for tourists and locals. I want you to feel like you are walking through the calm and peaceful streets of the city.

Holambra é uma pequena cidade do interior do estado de São Paulo. Sua formação deu-se a partir da chegada de imigrantes holandeses que vieram para o Brasil em busca de melhores condições de vida em decorrência da Segunda Guerra Mundial que deixou a Europa devastada. O pequeno município é hoje um importante pólo turístico do estado e também é a maior cidade produtora de flores e plantas ornamentais da América Latina. O nome Holambra vem da junção de Holanda + Brasil.
Neste mapa busquei evidenciar aspéctos da gastronomia, da economia, da história, da arquitetura e da cultura. A intenção é transmitir toda a atmosfera de Holambra em um mapa recheado de informações interessantes a turistas e moradores. Desejo que você sinta como se estivesse passeando pela ruas calmas e tranquilas da cidade.
