I wanted to stand out from all the other applicants at a recent job interview so I decided to take on a DIY portfolio cover. The materials were all recycled, wood, cardboard, thumbtacks. I used a wood burner to create my logo of my initials "JOH" on the cover. I also used thumbtacks so the portfolio (11x17) inside can be updated and changed with ease. I didn't want to go over my head on design and went for a natural appeal.
