Graduation project about the history of cinema and film posters in Africa and its diaspora (Congo, Ghana, Nigeria, Haiti and USA).
The creative part of the project consists of a series of six illustrated and screen printed posters on canvas (inspired by Ghanaian hand painted film posters). The series features posters of filmmakers from different countries (Oscar Micheaux – U.S.A., Spike Lee – U.S.A., Raoul Peck – Haiti, Ralph Nwadike – Nigeria and Alain Leandre Baker from Congo).
Oscar Micheaux - Also considered the "Godfather" of Black Cinema.
