A phrase or a fixed expression that has a figurative, or sometimes literal, meaning. There are thousands of idioms, and they occur frequently in all languages. There are at least 25,000 idiomatic expressions in the English language.

The goal of this project was to create a trio of posters that would attract a viewer's attention and hold it long enough to convey their message. These posters needed to be bold enough to garner attention individually but also work as a cohesive group.
