During my graphic design internship at GT Creative, LLC., I was assigned a project to create a postcard for a Chicago-based salon.  Drew Freund, my client and hair stylist, wanted to recruit more customers in the age range of 40 and up.  I created a postcard to match the look and feel of their salon: trendy, modern, and upscale. 

My concept revolved around hair textures-all hair is different and unique.  By comparing Zen-like sand gardens to hair textures, I showed simplicity.  A salon is a place to get away to another place and get pampered, so I wanted to invite busy working women to a relaxing salon experience at Zea Salon.
