Krčedinska ada is recognized as a fragile artefact created by the Danube. Multiscalar colour palettes analysis, microenvironments, porosity and soil submergenc diagrams were used for mapping zones and fragility factors (sedimentation, invasive, specific species, soil submergence) resulting in a 3.5 km long infrastructural stretch connecting the Danube and Gardinovce. The research station for the digitalization and examination of artifact fragility scenarios functions within a complex ecosystem as a regulator of natural processes.
The supports contain a set of sensors (defined by the zone) that record changes and actuators that serve to regulate the fragility factor. The pneumatic tube has the function of transportation, but it is also an extension of the exhibition space for VR/ AR, enabling contact with the outside environment (transparency / opening / closing / exiting the tube). The spatial program scheme was created in relation to the degree of fragility and types of users. It consists of research, exhibition and temporary accommodation facilities scattered along the infrastructural stretch.
