I started to think, what story could I visually share best from my country,
which is meaningful to me and which is rich of Ukrainian cultural inheritance.
Quickly i came yo conclusion that I would like to pick one of the old famous folklore
fairytales which are 100s of years old. Its called: Kurochka riaba tells us
that the golden egg has not brought happiness to grandfather and grandmother,
and brought only grief and tears.
Morality:
Golden egg - it is a utopian world full of beautiful illusions, in which each of us wants to come.
When grandparents beat golden egg to obviously eat it - is a metaphor of how people unsuccessfully
trying to snap their dreams and ideal representations to real life then Mr.Unforgettable event
in the face of a mouse breaks the world of our illusions, and, of course, it is bitter and difficult moment for everyone.
But life, the universe represented chicken Ryaba consoles the people, promising him
instead of rose-colored glasses real ideas about life thus “Speckled Hen” - a tale about growing up,
becoming a man, his consciousness transition from romantic to realistic.
MY IDEA WAS TO VISUALISE ILLUSION AND REALITY WITH A REFERENCE TO THIS FAIRY TALE.
