456 Studios is FCB’s award-winning production studio that delivers delivers high-performing, innovative, imaginative creative content for timely and timeless ideas. The studio’s capabilities include creative editorial, motion design, VFX, audio, retouching, print, and more. Previously known as Lord + Thomas, the studio rebranded after expanding from one U.S. office to rebrand various studio locations within the broader FCB international network.
One of the key features of 456 Studio Identity is a the dynamic logo that employs a variable design system. When the 456 Studios identity is on a screen it is a "living" identity, with the variable core shapes representing the numerals of 456. This motion design nods to the ever changing landscape of production, technology and our creative industry. In contrast with the logo’s geometric forms, 456 Studios brand imagery is organic and textural. These are all AI generate images which offers flexibility and infinite growth for the brand image library.
In order to level up the branding we've begun to translate the core principles of the variable design system in CG. Using materials and textural elements in a thoughtful contrast way.
