The idea behind this project was to generate an epic, dramatic scene that would capture the anxiety behind Spider-Man's web swinging in the tight spaces in between buildings, all while being chased by the Green Goblin.

Now, I know this is the Insomniac's Spidey, and that up there is Willem Dafoe's GG, but it all fit so well together. Since we don't have any new images for the Green Goblin, I decided to use Dafoe's. He's got the menacing appearance and his glider is a threat in itself. (Ask what happened to him in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man)

Then, after considering positions and the elements (which include the new symbiote spider symbol, barely visible underneath the Spider-Man 2 Logo, and spidey himself), I then splashed it with a little bit of contrast-ey lighting, with a splash of very subtle orange on the left, and the same but in blue on the right, further amplifying the meaning of split, indecision. On the left side of the image, we see the reflections of the real world, although darkened, have the orange bright and inviting tone. On the right, we have the Green Goblin's menacing, bright glider that stands out in the context of the scene, which is set on an evening.

Final touches and some texturing later, I finally finished with the project.
