Branding for Awarebee

Awarebee is a service for website change tracking.
Utilizing its own AI, a user-friendly interface, and convenient email reports, it allows users to stay informed about the site without any headaches. The quasi-palindromic slogan, "Be Aware," is the key message we deliver to each user. IT-company “Vilmate” contacted us with a request to create a brand for the Awarebee project, which they are developing. This name and slogan, provided by the founders, were the basis for a new brand platform and identity for the service.

Challenge:

Most comparable services feel impersonal; their communication is primarily for reporting purposes, and their brand imagery often uses technical style in visual to emphasize their high technologies. Awarebee aims to stand out by positioning itself as a humanly, thoughtful, caring assistant. Awarebee understands the importance of staying informed about website changes and is eager to notify you about situations that require your attention. Essentially, this brand has a heart.

Solution:

We intended to create a metaphor that would lend depth to the brand and make the 'bee' more than a fancy naming element. The first point of insight came from users who indicated that changes are not something bad. For example, if you're monitoring marketplace sales or awaiting notifications about updates to specific web portals, you value the nature of change. So, we imagined every unpredictable website change as a flower. Our task for the 'bee' is to discover and nurture this flower, transforming the unpredictability into ‘honey’ – reports. Since users get notifications by email, we implemented informative colors to give a clear report about the monitoring status.
