Art!lheiros: collaborative art project for the FIFA World Cup 2014
During the months leading up each World Cup, it is a tradition in Brazil the challenge to complete the event's sticker album. Inspired by this ART!LHEIROS collab (a wordplay on the word "artilheiros" which means "top scorer players") was created to mix Art and Football.
32 Brazilian artists (the same number of teams in the World Cup) were invited to give their artwork interpretation of each soccer team star, turning them into illustrated figure stickers using many different techniques - from digital art, watercolor, sculptures and more.
My initial contribution to the project was the Mario Balotelli digital illustration.
The second edition of the Project included 25 artworks of the Brazilian team of 2014.
