The Community Rewards Program was developed to reward people who contribute to the community of the Tezos blockchain by the Tezos Commons Foundation. Along with a cash prize, the client wanted to create collectible NFTs that signified the way each contributor helped the community.
We created nine award icons, each inspired by the title of the consecutive award. The icons are based on different geometric shapes and are recognizable on smaller and bigger scales. To enhance the sense of continuity and express the sense of community and connection between the contributors, we incorporated the geometric shapes of other icons into one another.
Each NFT includes all the technical characteristics that signify the uniqueness and collectability of the award. Because the Tezos blockchain is eco-friendly, incorporating elements from nature was essential for the design process. Each award has a unique graphic inspired by nature. The vibrant colors are reminiscent of the Northern Lights while also complimenting the blue color used by Tezos.
