Classical Ballet 121 is a ballet school with a 'one-to-one' approach to teaching. A commitment to small class sizes ensures that teachers get to know each student’s personal strengths, weaknesses and learning styles. Students study classical ballet, conditioning, pointe work, repertoire, contemporary, national character dance, Spanish, improvisation, choreography, dance history, anatomy and nutrition.
The identity finds inspiration in 'steps' that have the ability to transform. Steps teachers go through to impart knowledge, train and support the students. Steps each student must make, physically and mentally, to learn, grow, flex and strengthen, to transform into dancers and well-rounded adults. Steps that form choreographies that will in turn present on stage.
To stand apart from traditional style ballet schools, the branding and visual language is modern and distinctive. Yet it is also supremely flexible to allow the individuality of the student to shine through.
