Gateway held the coveted privilege of introducing the latest Windows operating system to the world before anyone else. This ad was made to show how much Gateway's competitors really wanted what Gateway had. The picture on the front teases you by starting in Seattle, and the headline hints at what Gateway had that everyone wanted. Then, a chase begins.
Feel Like a Kid Again
The aim of this advertisement was to connect with the reader's emotions, inspiring a desire for a Gateway computer as a Christmas gift. The idea was that unwrapping this present would evoke a sense of youthful joy, akin to being a kid once more.
Bustin’ Loose
This ad showed that Gateway has a lot to offer with lower prices. The cover set up anticipation with the next page delivering in a big way.

As a fresh entrant into the K-12 education market, our objective was to establish a strong connection between the Gateway brand and K-6 teachers. While anyone can offer computers, Gateway's advertisements offered a delightful and captivating learning experience. These advertisements played a pivotal role in propelling Gateway from a newcomer to the forefront of the K-6 education market.
During a time when the computer industry was in a mad race to win market share, we positioned Gateway as the odds-on favorite and they came out the WINNER!
We crafted a compelling series of advertisements showcasing a radio talk show hosted by computer experts who were ardent fans of Gateway. As evidenced in the accompanying photo, the studio is adorned with various Gateway items, underscoring the brand's prominent presence. It's evident that Gateway Computers stood as the preferred choice of these experts.

This Three Musketeers-themed ad vividly illustrates the unity between Gateway and its suppliers, working seamlessly as a united team to safeguard the interests of the customer. The sentiment of "All for one, one for all" succinctly conveys Gateway's unwavering commitment to being a steadfast ally for the customer.
