Fanzine Art Concept, Design, Graphics, Edition, Coordination, and Publishing by Miguel Correia
This project began as an experimental design platform to test the boundaries of creativity using analog graphic methods.
The main goal was to make a point about the overuse of digital assets and techniques and also promote the attitude of "going back to the roots". It went far beyond that. What started as a small-publishing play has become a great platform that has featured the work of more than 80 artists from all over the world.
Still, this is a fanzine that has the spirit of punk and grunge design from the 80s and 90s and has been challenging the people that participate to exceed themselves and go a step further, even if that means stepping out of their comfort zone technique-wise.
I am the editor of this fanzine and I started it in 2020.
In this case study, I present the sections that were developed by me: Covers, Back-covers, first page, and colophon from number 18 to 24.
