As I have begun to shoot more lifestyle work over the past few years, I have identified the need to add images to my portfolio that have a more commercially accessible appeal. With that need at hand, we collaborated with our go-to make-up stylist Jai Schmidt and headed to Milwaukee to work with four models over the course of a full day shooting in the Historic Third Ward. Jai brought two fantastic people on board for the shoot to handle hair styling and wardrobe, Lynee Ruiz and Sarah Pearson. The cool thing about the collaborative process with my personal work is being able to consistently work with trusted people to bring the project together and fully understand the style of work we are trying to showcase. We’ve also worked with The Rock Agency in Madison over the past several years on both client jobs and personal shoots, and they have been more than accommodating to us in finding the models we needed to put this shoot together flawlessly.
