Voyage autonomous taxi

At Voyage Auto, the autonomous taxi service company acquired by Cruise in 2021, I had a diverse range of responsibilities in the creative department from ui design, branding/ brand animations, realtime 3d navigation assets, to photorealistic vehicle rendering for web and marketing, to prototyping for investor pitch, to Lidar mount design mockups.

Animated UI was the key aspect of my work, effectively alerting users about their taxi's current status when using Voyage app. The design caters to an extensive demographic of riders, spanning from young individuals to senior citizens. Overall, my contributions as part of the creative team at Voyage Auto helped strengthen its brand presence and effectively communicate our vision of a safer, cleaner, and more accessible self-driving service.
I was responsible for creating app loading animations designed to mirror the characteristics of a lidar scan, also integrating the same motion into the logo design.
I was tasked with developing prototype casing concepts for seamlessly retrofitting lidar scanners and cameras onto the Chrysler Pacifica vehicle.
Amidst the pandemic, a strategic choice was made to integrate UV lighting that activates automatically to disinfect the interior after every ride. I created the below rendering for marketing purposes and a PR announcement ahead of the actual implementation of the UV system.
In the early phases of brand development, we embarked exploration to determine the optimal placement of our v1 logo on the vehicle's body. Through a series of mock-up iterations, I explored various design possibilities to seamlessly integrate our logo onto the vehicle's exterior. I have also created a dynamic motion rendition of the logo for loading and onboarding screens, emphasizing its kinetic attributes
