Hello ,Changi Precinct

Located in Changi Airport Terminal 3, Hello Changi Precinct Gallery is created to showcase the East area through a fun and vibrant experience. The nostalgic gallery is separated into different zones that includes Jewel, Changi Beach, Pulau Ubin, Pasir Ris, Bedok Jetty, Siglap, Simei and Tampines. They are converted into mini instagrammable photo spots, and at the same time includes fun facts of these places.


A visual identity was created for this gallery. The 8 icons are developed to categorize the 8 districts and could effectively communicate what is the gallery all about. The icons are represented by a unique activities that could happen around the area. For example, a fishing hook is designed to represent the jetty in Bedok; the bicycle icon is designed to represent the cycling activies that can be done in Pasir Ris Park; etc.
Other gallery highlights include Simei district which features the four beauties who has made an impact oh Chinese history. Simei was named after these four beauties, thus their illustrations could be found at the void deck of residential blocks in Simei. These illustrations are recreated so that it ties in with the entire gallery. Visitors can join in to the middle spot and mark as firth beauty in the photo spot.
Tampines zone: 
To end off the gallery, visitors get to play a "Wottermelon" duel in front of the iconic Tampines residential block façade and nostalgic watermelon playground.
