Mexaheads.
Naming, Brand Identity, Illustration, Packaging.
We were assigned to create the brand identity and packaging design for the collection of Pre-Hispanic Art Toys that we named Mexaheads, as the collection is characterized by the peculiarity of the huge shape of their heads.
The pieces to be intervened, needed to tell a story that would inspire the collector. Here, the heart of the project lies in the syncretism of the ancient Mayan culture and the trendy Art Toys, two apparently different aspects.
An important detail is added to the POS, when bringing together several packages, intentionally generates a pyramid-shaped display, referring to one of the most representative icons of Mexican culture.
